An open letter to my apartment

Dear Apartment,

I'm leaving on Tuesday for a few days and coming back after the official start of the holiday season. You should be decorated by Friday night, but you won't be. To get a head start when I get back, I brought everything up from the basement and put up the tree (no lights or decorations yet). Next Monday after work, you will be decorated. ;)
