An open letter to my Treadmill

Dear Treadmill,

Thank you. It's been too long since I walked, hiked, jogged and sprinted on your smooth track. Lately I've been feeling worn out, sad, stressed and blah in general. Leaving the daily sun of Vegas for the (almost) daily rain of St. Joe hasn't helped much either.

I almost forgot what makes me feel better! It's not clothes or chocolate or wine... It's definitely you, Treadmill. I joined a gym last week and finally made it there today. I haven't felt this good in a long time. I'm sore and tired, but I've earned it. Plus, I had extra energy to finish laundry, cook dinner, pack up for tomorrow and blog! Compare that to a normal evening of laying on the couch until I fall asleep and I'm super psyched.

So, thanks again, Treadmill. I missed you and I promise I'll keep coming back. I'd be an idiot not to.
